Lower Key Stage 2: Year 4 – Changing Environments

Our climate is steadily shifting, but what's causing this and what could the affects include?Over the past 50 years, much of our countryside has changed beyond recognition.

Change is normal in the Natural World, but with the rate and type of change we’re seeing, wildlife is being put under increasing strain.

In ‘Changing Environments’ we’ll cover:

  • Discuss normal types of change over 1,000s of years
  • Discover what types of change are affecting our environment now
  • How these changes are affected our wildlife

Our school nature walks run for approximately one hour and can take place within the school grounds or further a field in surrounding countryside.

Based in Bolton, we travel to primary schools right across the North West. For details on our other Key Stage 2 walks, click here.
