Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2013!

By Russ Leave a Comment

You can't beat a Full English of a morning. How much do you enjoy your breakfast? In 2013, it’s often a meal that passes in a few seconds as we rush out of the door for work. Breakfast may even go out the window all together! To spread the word about how important breakfast is for us, this week is Nation Farmhouse Breakfast Week!

Farms supply us with food, animals with bedding and wildlife with dozens of micro-habitats.At Nature Talks and Walks we’re always first in line to stand up for Britain’s farms as they are crucial to many of our most loved wildlife species. For hundreds of years, people and wildlife have lived alongside each other on Britain’s farms. Without the crops and domestic animals however, the farms would not be here so by making sure you eat a full, hearty breakfast, not only are you ensuring you’re set up for the rest of the day but you will be helping keep Britain’s farms going along with the wildlife they support.

So the obvious question this week is: What’s your favourite breakfast? Ours would have to be the Bacon Bap. Whatever it is, make sure you take time out of each day for the most important meal of the day.

Don’t forget…

Leave a comment below or even send a picture of your favourite breakfast to:

Also remember to subscribe to our blog at the top right of the screen for updates on events,  your pictures, wild files and much more.

Take care, and stay on the wild side.

Russ
