In this session, your class will learn about different types of British habitat by visiting them first hand!
We’ll visit a local green area near your school that has a fantastic mixture of open areas, woodland and water habitats.
In ‘What is a Habitat?’, we’ll cover:
- Why different animals live in different habitats
- How does each habitat provide for animals and plants
- What relationship do the animals within a habitat have with each other
Our school nature walks run for approximately one hour and can take place within the school ground or further a field in surrounding countryside.
