Britain’s plants have developed some amazing techniques to survive our varying habitats and weather.
Just how they’ve done this and what they need to survive is the focus of this school session by getting outside and looking at Britain’s plants.
In ‘How Plants Grow’ we’ll cover:
- Identification of some common garden plants in the school grounds of surrounding countryside
- What do plants need to grow
- Why do seeds look different
- What is the bulb of a plant with examples
Our school nature walks run for approximately one hour and can take place within the school ground or further a field in surrounding countryside.
