From the moment they’re first born, animals are constantly growing until they reach maturity.
This school session focuses on British wildlife that you can see out of the school window and how this process occurs and what changes the animal goes through in this time.
In ‘Young Animals’ we’ll cover:
- Identification of some common garden animals
- Examples of their young – do all young animals look the same?
- What do animals need to grow
Our school nature walks run for approximately one hour and can take place within the school grounds or further a field in surrounding countryside.
Based in Bolton, we travel to primary schools right across the North West. For details on our other Key Stage 1 walks, click here.
