Training Days with Nature Talks and Walks

Wildlife Training helps volunteers feel confident about public speaking.

As well as offering guided wildlife walks, Nature Talks and Walks also provides volunteer training days to charities and organisations who are involved in public education.

Our training days are designed to teach all the essential skills and confidence your group needs to lead events for members of the public, whether they’re topic is nature or anything else.

Learning identification skills for different species can seem daunting, but with our training days we'll show you some simple tips to help build up your knowledge. Our training days cover:

  • Wildlife Identification
  • Local Heritage
  • Communication Skills
  • Health and Safety

We travel right across the country with our training events and we’ve been providing volunteer training to the Canal and Rivers Trust since 2012.

Through our wildlife training days, your volunteers or group will be able to organise and produce effective and engaging events.

This will help captivate their audience and, most importantly, spread the word about British Wildlife and the need for it’s conservation.
